You can buy fish immediately after the water in the aquarium becomes transparent. Be sure in the process of selecting fish, pay attention to their compatibility. It is very important that they can live in the same conditions, taking into account the temperature and hardness of water, lighting and other parameters. Try to avoid overcrowding in the aquarium, this can lead to undesirable consequences, and you just lose some of your water pets.

Fish should be purchased as close as possible to the house, as they are extremely difficult to tolerate long-term transportation. And after you bring them home, do not rush to immediately drop into the aquarium. Before a fish is launched into its permanent place of residence, it must adapt to new conditions, namely to aquarium water. Therefore, in the tank to which the fish is located, it is necessary to install an aerator and then pour water from the aquarium into it. Dosages should be 20% every 10 minutes. After the water is completely changed in the tank, repeat this procedure again, and drain the excess, “waste” water down the drain. It will require no more than two hours. And only then the fish from the tank can be relocated to the aquarium with a net. Just make sure that the difference between the water in the aquarium and in the tank is not more than two degrees Celsius. And also be careful that the water from the tank does not unexpectedly end up in the aquarium, as it may contain pathogenic bacteria. Also, the tank itself, the net and the aerator should be perfectly clean. Rinse them before carrying out all procedures and after you finish everything.
